WHO WE ARE

Maureen J. Hochler is a highly respected management-employee relations mediator and consultant. Her firm, Alliance for Resolution specializes in mediation and conflict resolution services to all types of companies- both public and private. Ms. Hochler has been a mediator-consultant for more than 20 years covering all areas of employment, labor and employee relations. She has successfully resolved employee and management issues in matters such as sexual harassment, wrongful termination, disputes between managers and employees, or employee and their co-workers.

Ms. Hochler has a strong background in corporate human relations having held executive human resources positions with Fortune 500 companies such as Carter-Hawley-Hale, Del Monte Corporation and Sara Lee. She has effectively handled arbitration and grievance procedures in both union and non-union environments including the Teamsters, Retail Clerks, Butchers, Carpenters and Electricians helping them attain satisfactory and mutually-beneficial conclusions.

Ms. Hochler has participated as a volunteer mediator for Marin County Mediation Services. She is, and has been, a member of the following mediation panels: California State Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit Court, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, United States Postal Service Redress Program, California State Personnel Board, Key Bridge Foundation, Peninsula Mediation Group. She also maintains membership in The National Society for Human Resource Professionals [SHRM].

Ms. Hochler has designed and conducted in-house and public seminars on mediation, sexual harassment, and wrongful discharge, compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, conflict resolution and team building.

Ms. Hochler received countless hours of formal training in mediation skills, facilitation and negotiation from such notable professionals as Bill Lincoln, Gary Friedman.

She has been asked to serve on the following boards of directors:
